JETAA FUNDRAISING EVENT - ANIME IN THE ARVO www.6park.com
In a bid to help Japan as it begins to rebuild after the devastating earthquake and tsunami two weeks ago the Japan Exchance & Teaching Alumni Association (JETAA) is hosting a  fundraising event at Federation Square tomorrow (Saturday March 26). www.6park.com
Anime In The Arvo will support the Red Cross Japan and Pacific Disaster Appeal. The free event, starting at 3pm, will feature Japanese anime artists, music, cosplay and breakdancing.
From 5pm, the Melbourne International Film Festival will screen the Japanese anime Summer Wars. After the movie there will be taiko drumming. Throughout the afternoon JETAA volunteers as well as cosplayers will be on hand to collect donations.
